Quick Indian Poker ("the game", "we", "us") is a free, browser-based card game played with simulated chips. This policy explains what information we collect when you use quickindianpoker.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.
No real money
The game uses simulated chips only. There is no real-money gambling, no purchases and no prizes. We never ask for payment details.
Information we collect
- Account details: your email address, the username you choose, and your password. Passwords are stored in hashed form by our account provider; we never see them.
- Age confirmation: that you confirmed you are 13 or older when creating an account.
- Game data: your character ("skin") choices, match results, ratings against bots and other players, win/loss records, and the state of multiplayer matches you take part in, including the actions you take during play.
- Technical data: like most websites, our hosting providers automatically process basic request information such as your IP address, browser type and the time of each request, to deliver the site, keep it secure and fix problems.
- On your device: the game stores your sound setting in your browser's local storage and keeps you logged in using your browser's session storage. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
How we use it
- To create and secure your account, log you in, and let you reset your password.
- To run matches, calculate ratings and save your progress.
- To send account emails, such as confirming your email address or resetting your password. We do not send marketing emails.
- To keep the game fair, prevent abuse, and fix bugs.
What other players can see
Your username, character, ratings and win/loss record are visible to other players, for example at the table, in lobbies and on the leaderboard. Your email address is never shown to other players.
Sharing
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We only share it with service providers that help us run the game, who process it on our behalf:
- Supabase for accounts, logins and account emails.
- Netlify for hosting the website, running the game server and storing game data.
- jsDelivr / unpkg content delivery networks, which serve a code library the game loads in your browser.
We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the safety of our players or the service.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and game data for as long as your account exists. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your account and personal data, except where we need to keep limited records to comply with the law. Past match records may keep an anonymous entry so other players' results stay consistent.
Children
You must be 13 or older to create an account. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
Your choices and rights
You can change your character at any time in the game. You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to delete your account, by emailing us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law, and we will honor them.
Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS) and reputable providers to protect your information. No online service is perfectly secure, so please use a password you don't use anywhere else.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be announced in the game.
